Broomhouse Centre recruiting detached youth worker

The Broomhouse Centre and Enterprises has announced that they are currently looking to fill a detached youth worker post for a new project they are running in collaboration with WHALE Arts.

The project will be based at the Broomhouse Centre and Enterprises working in the area using outreach, streetwork and street arts to reach young people in Broomhouse, Sighthill and Parkhead.


The post is part time paying £15 an hour.

We are looking for a highly motivated, enthusiastic and dynamic person who believes in the potential of young people. Experience of working with and being able to engage directly with disengaged young people are key features of this post.
The aims of this exciting project are to reach and work with disengaged young people in Broomhouse, Sighthill and Parkhead using the medium of street arts to engage, empower and create!
