Local groups will be holding a discussion and information event after a recent fire caused the sad loss of a shed created by pupils as part of a school farm project between Canal View Primary School and Edible Estates.

Edible Estates, Canal View in collaboration with The Bridge Cafe and Canal View Parents Council will be holding a School Farm Community Event at the Bridge Cafe, 1.00pm – 2.00pm, on Friday 26 July 2019.

  • The Cafe is going to prepare some free food made from the fruit and vegetables grown by the children.
  • Screenings of the video put together by the children, and a video that Edible Estates have been made.
  • A discussion about how they would go about replacing the shed, particularly with local folk helping in the construction.
  • A visit to the School to learn about the School Farm.

They ask that if you are interested in coming along please contact Alan Gordon (alan@edibleestates.co.uk) so they have an idea how much food to prepare.
