Stress Control is a free six week, cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) based self-help course offered by NHS Lothian. The course aims to provide attendees with the practical skills they need to help manage their own stress.
Please feel free to bring along a friend or anyone else you would like to support you to attend.
Class sizes tend to be between 20 and 40 people during the day and up to 100 people in the evening.
Stress Control is a lecture format and therefore you will never be asked to talk in front of the class or singled out.
You do not have to go on experiencing problems with stress. It is not something that you should just have to cope with by yourself. The techniques offered by the course can help!
