Wester Hailes Edible Estates has a released an update on their Facebook Page showing the Clovenstone kids having some fun in the sun at the Clovenstone community garden.
Edible Estates has released a series of updates on their Facebook giving information on their current partnership with Clovenstone Primary School.
Clovie kids did a fantastic job today on our garden day. Was a beautiful, sunny day, but the kids armed with water and suncream, weeded, cleared and put in peas, carrots and beetroot. Lots of digging. Everyone had a taste of the juice I’d made for them. It had kale, spinach, pineapple, cucumber and apple in it yum
Clovenstone After school club spent the early evening in the garden doing a fantastic job of watering and weeding the community beds. We also had a butterfly hunt and found 6 cabbage white (oops) 1 small tortoise and 2 orange tip butterflies, all in the Clovenstone garden. Great work everyone.
