The City of Edinburgh Council are looking to recruit a part time School Support Assistant based at WHEC.
The post is permanent, working 27.5 hours per week during term-time, 39 weeks per year, and has a salary of £15,285 to £17,191 (pro rata for part-time and sessional) plus living wage allowance if applicable.
We are looking for a caring and enthusiastic person to assist our teaching staff with the preparation and organisation of class materials and resources. An interest in Home Economics (food preparation) and/or IT would be an advantage.
This is a permanent term-time only position of up to 27.5 hours per week (school hours). Applications from candidates interested in working fewer hours will be considered – please specify your availability in your application.
This post is considered regulated work with vulnerable children and/or Protected Adults under the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) act 2007. Preferred candidates will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check prior to a formal offer of employment being made by City of Edinburgh Council.
