The City of Edinburgh Council are recruiting a Facilities Technician based at the Healthy Living Centre.
The post is part time working 20 hours per week with a salary of £18,860.00 – £21,828.00 per year.
Purpose of Job
Janitorial duties within a busy building which include opening and closing the building, Health & Safety inspections including water quality checks and fire alarm tests, identifying and reporting maintenance issues and carrying out reasonable requests from customers and building users.
To carry out day to day janitorial and DIY operations ranging from small repairs and general maintenance to reactive cleaning, supporting porterage and conducting security functions.
To provide an efficient and effective facilities technician service in accordance with the Service Level Agreement, CEC policy and any prevailing general standards.
