A Community Alcohol Partnership (CAP) covering South West Edinburgh is being created to target underage drinking and anti-social behaviour. They are carrying out a consultation of residents to understand where public concerns are and to help direct their work to resolve the issues.
Community Alcohol Partnerships bring together local retailers and licensees, trading standards, police, health services, education providers and other local stakeholders to tackle the problem of underage drinking and associated anti-social behaviour, with the aim of reducing the harm to young people and improve the quality of life for residents
