WHALE Arts in partnership with Manipulate Arts would like to invite you to their Manipulate Festival Puppet Parades this Friday and Saturday.
The young puppet makers in SmARTies , their Friday after school art class for young people, have been busy designing and making some truly fantastic puppets with Manipulate Arts. They’ll be showing off their creations on parade alongside some inflatable pupplets and the fabulous illuminated puppet, Ocho.
There are two parades planned:

Royal Mile Parade
Saturday 7 February 2026
2.00pm – 2.30pm
Parliament Square, The Royal Mile, Edinburgh
