Registration has opened for the 2026 Wester Hailes Fun Run which this year will take place on Saturday 6 June 2026.
You can register online on Eventbrite here, by scanning the QR code in the poster below or pick up a paper form from Prospect Community Housing, Clovenstone Community Centre, The Health Agency, or WHALE Arts.

Wester Hailes Fun Run/ Walk is an approximately 5k route round Wester Hailes. It’s for everyone- serious runners, fancy dress runners, families, friends etc. You can run, jog or walk, it’s up to you! This year there is a new route which starts and finishes at Clovenstone Community Centre as normal but this time also includes a return to Hailes Quarry Park.
All ages can take part. Those under 14 must be accompanied by an adult who is responsible for them. Young people can also take part through being part of a supervised youth group/club.
Please note that the route does not meet the measurement standard for an official Scottish Athletics course. If you are a Scottish Athletics member it will therefore not count as a Personal Best for official results
