Prospect Community Housing’s 2026 Community Clear Ups start next week. They’re a great opportunity for Prospect tenants to get rid of unwanted household items from their home and garden.
The clear ups are always very well received and are in response to issues over how to get rid of larger unwanted items.
Prospect provides skips for each area along with litter pickers, PPE, and refreshments. This year they are looking for each street to have a team of named tenant volunteers in advance who are happy to give 2 hours of their time to make each street clear up a success. Everyone who helps will be invited to a thank you event at the Prospect office, and entered into our Community Clear Up Champion competition! If you are a tenant, you can register to help here.
All the clear ups are on Wednesdays between 10.00am – 12.00pm. The dates for each neighbourhood are as follows:
- Wed 20 May – Clovenstone Park
- Wed 27 May – Walkers
- Wed 3 June – Clovenstone Gardens and Close
- Wed 10 June – Westburn
- Wed 17 June – Clovenstone Drive
- Wed 24 June – Morvenside
- Wed 1 July – Barn Park Crescent and Dumbeg Park
Tenants living in each area will receive more information including the skip locations closer to the date.
