Got a holey sock? A missing button? Jeans in desperate need of a patch up? Don’t bin it, bring it along to WHALE Arts’ Textile Repair Café!
We’ve got two free sessions running this summer. It’s the perfect chance to learn how to repair, mend, and upcycle your clothes and fabrics. Bring along an item that needs some love, or simply drop in and pick up some useful sewing and mending skills.
It doesn’t matter if you’re a complete beginner or if you’ve threaded a needle a few times before, everyone is welcome!
The cafes will take place at WHALE Arts on Tuesday 21st July & Tuesday 4th August 2026, 10.00am – 12.30pm
For adults. Free. No need to book, just pop in. Tea, coffee and biscuits provided.
