Join the Community Wellbeing Collective this Saturday 26th September for their monthly anchor event – this month, “How Do We Keep Each Other Safe In Our Communities?”
The country and many of our communities are in turmoil right now, with people feeling anxious but isolated in how to approach, discuss, and share anxieties and confusion over their own and others’ safety in a productive, collective way. Come along to the Yellow Hoose this weekend hence for food, thoughts, creative action, a self-defence session, and collective music, and share and hold space to keep us all safe.
- 12pm – 1pm – Community Meal – delicious home-cooked food and drinks
- 1pm – 3pm – Community discussion, and poster and sticker making workshop – join the public campaign and make your voice heard!
- 3pm – 4pm – Self Defence session with Worth Defending – intersectional and accessible self-defence, and community conciousness workshop
- 4pm – 5pm – Collective music – bring an instrument, bring a song, or just yourself, and lets make music!
