- Learn about Community Councils
- Learn more about local democracy
- Develop your critical thinking skills
- Feel more confident questioning information
- Understand media bias and different perspectives
- Learn how to read between the lines
- Feel more confident speaking up
- Share your views with others
- Meet people from different backgrounds
- Build new relationships and networks
