Atkins, landscape architects appointed by the Council to undertake a project which is looking to improve the public spaces around the Murrayburn, Hailesland and Dumbryden estates, recently held a consultation event asking for your thoughts and ideas.
The Council have appointed Atkins to develop concept design proposals for the estates that take into account aspirations arising from previous and ongoing work within the Wester Hailes area such as the community-led Wester Hailes Local Place Plan, the South West Locality Improvement Plan and the annual Neighbourhood Improvement Projects. This project is being delivered in parallel with the wider Wester Hailes Regeneration & Development Framework, as an early action project.
