The City of Edinburgh Council have released information and updates on roadworks which will be taking place around Wester Hailes over the next few weeks.

City of Edinburgh Council – installation of signalised pedestrian crossing
Temporary traffic lights 15 – 16/12/23 for signal head installation, anti-skid surfacing and line marking.
21/09/23 – 20/12/23
Between Clovenstone Road and Hailesland Park
City of Edinburgh Council – carriageway resurfacing Temporary traffic lights
11/12/23 – 14/12/23
At the bus stance parallel to Wester Hailes Road
Scottish Water – manhole repair Road closed

Last Mile Electricity – cable connections Temporary traffic lights
Between (and including) Bankhead roundabout and Sighthill roundabout City of Edinburgh Council – carriageway resurfacing. All work to be carried out overnight (6.30pm – 6am) on
weekdays only, no work planned during December
W/C 20/11/23 – road closed from Longstone roundabout to Sighthill roundabout and Sighthill Avenue closed.
From 24/11/23 for 5 weekday nights – road closed eastbound from Bankhead roundabout to Longstone roundabout and Broomhouse Road closed
