Scottish Canals have given the update that the car lodged n the canal is scheduled to be removed this Sunday.
Removal of the vehicle is scheduled to take place on Sunday 15th September 2024. Please be advised there will be minimal disruptions to the towpath at Bridge 6b while the removal gets underway. Short diversions will be in place during this period.
The road bridge will also be closed and diversions signposted. Navigation will also be closed in this location until the car has been safely removed. Anticipated completion for the removal is 2pm on Sunday.
