WHALE Arts will be screening Wonka on Wednesday 29 January 2025, 6.00pm as part of their ongoing screenings of Film and Food Nights.
With dreams of opening a shop in a city renowned for its chocolate, a young and poor Willy Wonka discovers that the industry is run by a cartel of greedy chocolatiers.
There will be a free home cooked meal served at 6.00pm with the film shown shortly after. There is no need to book just pop by and enjoy the show!
Wonka is the first of three Film and Food nights taking place at WHALE in the winter with Time bandits taking place on Wednesday 26 February 6.00pm and IF on Wednesday 26 March, 6.00pm.
The Film and Food Nights are part of the Local Cinema shared community cinema programme taking place across a range of community spaces in Edinburgh, programmed in collaboration with community members and groups.
