Sighthill Library is running a series of Summer Activities most days during the Sumer holidays as well as the annual Summer Reading Challenge.
- LEGO – Saturdays at 11am
- The Everywhere Bear story and craft – Mondays at 2.30pm
- Craft – Tuesdays at 2.30pm except 5th August
- Zoo Tails with our friends from Edinburgh Zoo – Tuesday 5th August at 4pm
- Gaming – Wednesdays at 4.30pm
- Bookbug – Fridays at 10.45am
Please note, children aged under 8 must be accompanied by an adult or carer aged 12+.
The Summer Reading Challenge has also returned with an exciting new theme for 2025 – Story Garden – all about celebrating and exploring the outdoors!
The annual Challenge is free to join at Edinburgh City Libraries. Children can discover new stories, collect fun rewards, and take part in free creative activities over the summer holidays. Read 6 Library books between now and the end of August, choose anything you like to read (can be fiction, fact books, comics, poetry, joke books, picture books, audio books – just as long as they are borrowed from the library).
