The WHALE Community Cinema will be holding a screening of A Minecraft Movie on Friday 24 October 2025, 2.30pm.
Bring the kids, bring your friends and neighbours – everyone is welcome! There’s no need to book, just come along.
The screening will be the next in a series of family screenings in the Winter and Spring as part of the Local Cinema Programme taking place across Edinburgh. Each will take place after the WHALE Friday Community meal which starts at 1.00pm so head along, enjoy some free lunch and a film!

- Puss in Boots: The Last Wish – Friday 20 February 2026, 2.30pm.
- Migration – Friday 20 March 2025, 2.30pm
