Space for Change training course

Space and Broomhouse Training Academy are now recruiting for a new training course Space For Change, a personal development and career-planning course for people over the age of 16+ who are unemployed, or looking to change career, living in Edinburgh into employment.

All training is free of charge. Travel costs covered when required.

The group training looks at:

  • Building confidence
  • Developing decision making skills
  • Coping with change
  • Financial Wellbeing
  • Communication and teamwork skills
  • Develop job-seeking skills
  • Develop digital skills & presentation skills
  • Customer service training – (delivered at Gate 55)

It is a 10-week course taking place on Mondays from 27 April 2026 to 29 June 2026 at Space @ Broomhouse Hub, 79/89 Broomhouse Crescent, EH11 3RH, 9.30am -12.30pm.

They will also be holding a 1 day workshop offering Customer Service Training available as a stand-alone course. All training is free of charge. at Gate 55, 55 Sighthill Road, Edinburgh, EH11 4PB, on Friday 22nd June 2026, 9.30am-12.30pm

This free course is for people over the age of 16+ who are unemployed or looking to change career living in Edinburgh.

Participants will receive a Certificate of Achievement on completing either course.

One-to-one guidance is also offered during and after the course to support participants in working towards their career goals, e.g. gaining experience, training skills etc.
