Fountainbridge Canalside Community Trust invites you to join them for the finale of the canal festival with their annual raft race, tomorrow Saturday 22 August 2026, 12.00pm – 4.00pm at Lochrin Basin.
Not only will the raft race will see 11 teams racing, battling it out and entertaining the crowd, but there is lots more planned, including:
- Meet the Fountainbridge Canalside Community Trust – find out more about the work happening in the local community and their future plans and events.
- Canoe tasters – from 12-2pm have a go on the water and try something new with Driftwood Adventures
- Quas drink tasters – sample this traditional drink and discover something a little different
- Music and event commentary from Andy Chung
- Canal boat trips will run throughout the afternoon, with departures on Lochrin Belle and All Aboard canal boats.
