SCOREscotland launched a new Community Fridge this week which aims to reduce food waste and give a helping hand to people who may be having a difficult time.
The fridge, located in WHALE Arts and part of SCOREscotland’s Green Futures Project, was launched on Tuesday 3 December 2019, with speeches from Nabirye Balyejusa, SCOREscotland’s Manager, and Jolly Oluka, the Green Futures Development Officer. There was also stalls detailing the work done by SCOREscotland with dinner and refreshments provided.
The Community fridge is located in the reception area of WHALE Arts with anyone welcome to pop in and help themselves to what they need. The WHALE Arts Centre is open 9.00am – 5.00pm Monday to Friday.
