A 17-year-old male has been arrested and charged in relation to an attempted murder of a woman on the Union Canal towpath in Wester Hailes.
The incident happened around 8.30pm on Friday, March 13. The 37-year-old victim was taken to Edinburgh’s Royal Infirmary with serious injuries.
The teenager was due to appear at Edinburgh Sheriff Court on Friday 20th March.

A 17-year-old boy has been arrested and charged in relation to an attempted murder in Edinburgh.
The 17-year-old is due to appear at Edinburgh Sheriff Court today.
