Lothian Buses have released information on a series of diversions to local buses due to roadworks taking place on Calder Road from this evening, Friday 24 November 2023.
Details are:
Due to resurfacing works, parts of Calder Road and Sighthill Roundabout will be closed EASTBOUND between 1830 hrs and 0600 hrs on the following dates: 24/11, 27/11, 28/11, 29/11 & 30/11
affects services 3, 21, 25, 34, 35, 36, X27, X28, N25
Diversions:
Service 3 (Citybound) – between Westside Plaza and Saughton Mains Roundabout, buses will be diverted via Murrayburn Road and Longstone Road heading citybound only.
Service 21 Clovenstone Journeys (Both Directions) – between Wester Hailes Road and Broomhouse Road Roundabout, buses will be diverted via Broomhouse Road and Bankhead Drive in both directions.
Services 25 34 35 N25 (Citybound) – between Bankhead Roundabout and Saughton Roundabout, buses will be diverted via Bankhead Avenue, Bankhead Drive, Broomhouse Drive and Saughton Road heading citybound only.
Service 36 (towards Ocean Terminal) – between Bankhead Crossway North and Longstone Road, buses will be diverted via Bankhead Avenue, Bankhead Drive, Broomhouse Drive and Saughton Road heading citybound only.
Services X27 X28 (Citybound) – between Bankhead Roundabout and Saughton Roundabout, buses will be diverted via Bankhead Avenue, Bankhead Drive, Broomhouse Drive and Saughton Road heading citybound only.
