Wester Hailes Library is happy to announce their lend and mend Hub is now open for booking!
The Lend and Mend hub is now open for bookings through the week for individuals to make use of the sewing machines and equipment.
To use the space you will need to undertake an induction with a member of staff, so get in touch to book your induction and then you can get busy with the sewing machines!
The purpose of the hub is:
- Mending facility – free to use equipment and tools for you to give your goods a new life
- An information hub to find out how you can repair, reuse and recycle in your local community
- Workshops and classes to share and improve your mending, reuse and upcycling skills
