Wester Hailes road will be closing today Monday 17 March 2025 for two weeks by the junction to Gillespie Crossroads to allow for resurfacing works.
Lothian has released information on diversions that will be in place for the two weeks (excluding Saturdays and Sundays) for the services 400 and 20.
Diversions:
Service 20 – between the Water of Leith Centre and Hailesland Road will be diverted via Lanark Road, Kingsknowe Road South, Kingsknowe Road North, Longstone Road and Murrayburn Road.
If Kingsknowe Road North remains closed, buses will operate via Inglis Green Road between Longstone Road and Water of Leith Centre.
Skylink 400 N400 – between Gillespie Road and Hailesland Road will be diverted via Lanark Road, Inglis Green Road, Longstone Road and Murrayburn Road and Dumbryden Drive.
