Changemakers food and life skills course

Space at The Broomhouse Hub are launching the new Changemakers: Food & Life Skills project a new food and life skills course for young people.

The nine-week course for young foodies (aged 16-24) aims to help develop life skills, build confidence through structured learning, and act as a safe space for meeting new people.

Whether you love puttering around your home kitchen or are considering a career in the hospitality sector, Changemakers is a great way to gain confidence through cooking, baking, budgeting, understanding nutrition, and more.

 The course will take place on Wednesdays in two blocks 29 April – 24 June 2026 or 12 August – 7 October 2026, at 1-3:30 p.m. (includes 30-minute break) in The Broomhouse Hub (79-89 Broomhouse Crescent).

If you or a young person you know is interested but want to learn more before signing up, Space will be holding an information drop-in session on Wednesday, 22 April 2026 from 1.00pm – 2.30pm. at The Broomhouse Hub.
